Diane Tullson
Diane Tullson was born in Calgary, Canada and has an MFA in Creative Writing. She writes full-time and is the author of 10 books geared toward teen readers. She currently lives near Vancouver, BC with her family. She says the hardest part about being a writer is the rejection letters!
The son of an air force engineer, Will Hobbs grew up traveling the world. A graduate of Stanford University, Will begain his career as a reading and language arts teacher. He taught for seventeen years before becoming a full-time writer. Will is the author of eighteen young adult novels about surviving in the outdoors. He currently lives with his wife, Jean, in Durango, Colorado.
Gary Paulsen
Gary Paulsen was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1939. After a rough childhood, he ran away from home when he was 14 to join the carnival as a Tilt-a-Whirl operator. This lead to his many occupations including the Army at 17, ranch hand, construction worker, truck driver, Iditarod racer, and finally writer. Gary currently lives with his wife, artist Ruth Wright Paulsen, in a house in New Mexico and on a boat in the Pacific Ocean.
